Class description: Fused glass pocket vases are decorative, functional pieces of art made by firing cut and arranged pieces of glass in a kiln to melt them together, forming a flat, water-tight container with a built-in pocket or small opening on the front for holding flower stems or propagation cuttings. Perfect for a window, wall, home or office. Students learn to cut and shape glass to create a multi-layered design pocket vase. Learn the basics of fusing, how to use hand tools, and materials to create spaces and pockets during kiln firing. Finished size approximately 4×6”.
