BIG QUESTION: Who do you want to see on the slate of NOTABA officers for next year?The offices are as follows

President
Vice-President
Treasurer
Secretary

Plus 4-8 board members.

Don’t just say, You’re doing a great job, Priscilla. Think about it for a minute.

Our business community is waking up and coming together.
NOTABA will be stronger and better if NEW people step into these leadership positions.
The City of Rochester looks to NOTABA as the voice for NOTA’s businesses.

So, send in names of people you respect and like (including your own name).
Ask questions — we will be happy to answer them.

And a correction: NOTABA’s monthly meeting is next week:
Tuesday, May 8, 9:30 a.m.

Hi Priscilla,

From what I heard for my partners, we at Image City would support Option B.

One concern is the following: “only concern is that yellow shows dirt…..so is there a plan to clean these periodically? If not then how sensitive the designs are to having grime on them should be another critiera.”

I am in favor of the third option. It’s slightly more conservative and should highlight the information included, not distract from it. Marilynne Lipshutz

Also, the neighborhood is in much need of spots on the information kiosks where we can post neighborhood updates (paper) and neighborhood newsletters ( paper). I hope these kiosks will have some element that alllows for this.

I like Alternate C. I think the contrast is sharpest against the black and for writers and poets black means art. It’s our color. Maybe because words are black ink on white paper. This may be very different for other types of art, but I think the black looks sophisticated, classy and very artistic. The red and yellow just look gaudy to me. Also, I question whether we really want kiosks in the exact colors of the banners. I think the black would stand out against them.
